Stephen has two cats which have been his companions for 12 years, but unfortunately, he can only bring one to his new residence. Although this is a difficult decision, Kiki has been selected for a new home, as his other cat Murray’s coat requires ongoing care.
Kiki is 14 years old and in very good health, maintaining her coat by herself. Average age for an indoor cat is 12-18 years, but Kiki could easily reach 20. Kiki goes to Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital, has no health issues, and she is up-to-date with all her shots through April 2024.
Kiki is a stunningly beautiful, rare Calico Domestic Longhair with a handsome neck ruff… a sweet and loving cat. She has lightning reflexes due to the breed’s hunting skills, many endearing vocalizations, and enjoys being brushed. She will win your heart when you meet her, and reward you with her affection. She brings her litter box, her cat tree, complete vet records, and a month's supply of food.
Kiki is looking for a home with:
Human attention --- she is well-socialized, and enjoys playtime with a feather lure or laser pointer. She enjoys being fussed over and pet, and will become a lap cat as she becomes comfortable in your home
Peace and quiet --- she will do best without large or medium dogs, or male or assertive cats, or small children, in your home
Canned cat food --- one regular 5.5 oz can Friskies Pate per day, split into 2 or 3 meals
A roof --- she has been converted to an indoor-only cat for 3 years :-) Within 100 miles of Salt Lake City would be nice
Stephen is happy to assist her new owner with her eventual end-of-life care decisions and expenses. She is literally a “member of the family,” and deserves compassion and peace in her golden years
